HOW TO USE:
===========

This Enhanced SoftPaq contains utilities that can be used to restore and/or update the 
system ROM on the HP ProLiant Server.

Several methods for changing the ROM version on your server may be chosen.

Included are the various ways to perform the update. Each folder provided has 
self-contained files to perform the ROM update and any unwanted folders may 
be deleted.

Tools and appropriate ROM images are contained in each of the directories as follows:

  ROMPaq CD - Creates a bootable CD that can be used to locally restore or update
  the system ROM. 

  ROMPaq Diskette - Creates a bootable 1.44 diskette, using a 32 and/or a 64 bit 
  operating system, that can be used to locally restore or update the system ROM.

  ROMPaq Diskette Label - This program creates a ROMPaq 1.44 diskette label that can be 
  printed and used to label your ROMPaq diskette. 

  ROMPAQ Flat Files - Provides flat files of the ROMPaq diskette that can be used for network system ROM
  restore and/or upgrade. Pre-Boot eXecution Environment (PXE) is one method to accomplish this task.

  ROMPaq Network - To assist the system administrator with flashing the system ROM multiple methods 
  have been put in place to accomplish this task. For more information please refer to the readme.txt
  file located in the ROMPaq Network folder of the Enhanced SoftPaq.

  ROMPaq USB Key - Windows-based utility to locally partition, format and copy necessary 
  files to a USB flash media device (e.g. HP Drive Key) through the Windows environment.
  The created USB flash media device is made bootable and ready to locally restore or update
  the system ROM.
